Our story began ten years ago, in a classroom in Madrid. Fran had just moved to Spain to pursue a master’s degree and, unknowingly, had also just moved into the rest of his life. Between classes, group projects, and any excuse to prolong our conversations, we found each other. We were classmates, then partners in crime, and slowly started to realize there was something more. Our first official chapter began in Paris. Between the city’s magic and a few Nutella crepes, Fran asked Borja to start this adventure together. Paris approved. But every good story needs a little drama. A year and a half later, we decided to go our separate ways. Six months passed without seeing each other, until fate (and a party) brought us back together. We started over, slowly, almost like strangers who actually knew each other too well. A few months later, we took a trip to South Africa. Thousands of miles from home, we realized our place was still the same: together. Since then, life has been a shared journey in every sense. We moved in together, built our home, and started exploring the world, visiting nearly 50 countries together and collecting an endless array of memories, stories, and flights we nearly missed. In 2025, during a trip to the Maldives, unknowingly, we both made the same decision. With hidden rings and nerves running high, we surprised each other with proposals… both of us. Because one thing we’ve learned is that we’ve always been on the same page, even without saying a word. And now, after all these trips, reunions, and every “yes” along the way, we’re ready for the next journey; the most important one of all. And it wouldn’t be the same without you all, dear family and friends.
